HOW IT STARTED
I got my first camera when I was 16. It was a Minolta Dynax 500si, I think. Right, it was not a digital camera. Developing photographs was pretty expensive, too. Each picture you took had to be well-considered. However, I don’t remember how much money I spent in those days for photographs that never have been worth being developed.
These days things have changed a lot. You can take as many pictures as you want. As long as you don’t worry the time you’ll have to spend organizing and selecting your photographs. Well, maybe external drives and all the equipment is expensive, too. But technology brought a lot of benefits. However, I think it’s not about editing but about spending time, being curious, observing and wondering… to maybe someday having the chance to take the picture of your life. The best camera will never take the best picture. It’s the eye of the person behind it. I think that fact will never change.
While traveling around the world I love trying to capture the beauty of the world. Always hunting for that one and only epic shot of my life. So far I didn’t find it.

Timelapse allows you to show hours in only a few seconds. It enables to visualize movements that usually would not get noticed.
It’s not about editing but about spending time, being curious, observing and especially wondering about the beauty and magic of our planet.
